John Dillard

John Dillard manages Big Sky’s consulting operations related to decision analysis for Defense and Intelligence clients. John most recently served as Senior Principal and member of the executive team of SRA International, where he led the Intelligence Community practice of SRA's Touchstone Consulting Group. Touchstone focuses on Strategy and Management Consulting for the Federal Government. John's clients have included all of the National intelligence agencies, where project teams under his leadership provided services for specialized mission areas, CIO’s, Research and Development Leaders, Policy Organizations, and Finance and Accounting Divisions. His teams have delivered services on investment decision-making, portfolio analysis and management, organization design, and best practices research. John has worked as a consultant to both private and public organizations in a range of industries, including Federal and State Government, Airline, Automotive, and Financial Services.

Hanno Ekdahl

Hanno Ekdahl manages Big Sky’s financial operations and methodology development. Before co-founding Big Sky Associates, Inc., Hanno served as the Southeast Area Principal for Novell, Inc., where he was responsible for developing relationships with and delivering results for CXO- level executives of government and Fortune 500 organizations. Hanno has nine years of combined consulting and senior management experience integrating technology with business initiatives, developing methodologies, and managing client relationships. He has extensive experience in Identity Management, business process reengineering, and IT project management. He has a proven track record in developing business and technology strategies for the Federal Government, Financial Services, Information Services, and Healthcare.

Manoj Malhotra

Manoj Malhotra is responsible for thought leadership and project methodology development in management, operations, and decision sciences. Manoj is also the Jeff B. Bates Professor in the Moore School of Business and has served as the Chairman of the Management Science Department at University of South Carolina (USC)- Columbia since 2000. He has worked with firms such as John Deere, Metso Paper, Bose Corporation, Phelps Dodge, Sonoco, UCB Chemicals, and Westinghouse Nuclear Fuels Division. He spearheaded the creation of a Center for Global Supply Chain and Process Management at USC and led many improvement projects with client firms over the past five years. Manoj's academic research has thematically focused on the deployment of flexible resources in manufacturing and service firms, and on the interface between operations and supply chain management and other functional areas of business. His work has been published in refereed journals such as Decision Sciences, European Journal of Operational Research, IIE Transactions, International Journal of Production Research, Journal of Operations Management, OMEGA, and Production and Operations Management Journal.
